About June Clark Eubanks
June Clark Eubanks was raised in Peoria, IL and she is an active theatre artist and director. In 2020, she was elected to the board of directors for The Station Theatre in Urbana and was appointed as the Vision Artistic Director and Chair of the Play Selection Committee in 2022. June began directing and performing at Parkland College in 1993 (where she also taught and directed from 2017-2020). She earned her BA in Theatre Arts from Southern Illinois University and her MFA in Directing from Illinois State. June’s creative work centers on empathy and inclusion while interrogating sexist, racist, and capitalist structures through a multi-dimensional feminist lens. She has directed and performed all along the east coast, from NYC to Miami, as well as with the 20% Theatre Company, AstonRep, BoHo, Promethean, Diamante, and City Lit theatre companies in Chicago. Her earlier studies in art history, painting, dance, costumes, and scenic design have afforded her opportunities to create sets, props, choreography, and costumes for a myriad of productions. With the Office for Arts Integration, June further strives to uplift art in the community and throughout the campus as the Associate Director of Communications.
